INSTITUTIONAL RESEARCH:
Our primary research initiative includes focused analysis for institutional clients and an
institutional brokerage and trading firm. Our first research initiative includes focused
research on two industries where we believe we have particular expertise and are in
secular up trends. Our research within the telecommunications and capital goods
industries includes periodic update reports on companies in each industry as well as brief
descriptive reports and timely buy recommendations.
Typically, we focus on smaller capitalization companies within our listed industries, but
have maintained the flexibility of adopting special situations stocks as well. Our research
coverage is dynamic and evolutionary, meaning it can change. Accordingly, we may be
adding or deleting stocks with some frequency over time.
Our research is also based on timely research recommendations and our coverage lists
includes companies we find attractive long-term even if we do not currently recommend
the stocks. However, we do not prefer maintenance research and accordingly our
coverage list may change over time if there are better ideas in the sector and if the long
term fundamentals of a certain company change.
Additionally, much of our research is predicated upon corporate access and is used as a
tool by our institutional clients to better understand corporate strategies and initiatives
- Corporate Access focused research is driven through our relationship with WJB Capital.
- We apply fundamental and relevant research notes to our meetings with various
corporate management teams.
- We also offer specialized and negotiated fee research reports to various institutions,
allowing for economic outsourcing of small capitalization research
- Our research model is driven by both a Soft-dollar and Hard-dollar compensation model.
